Hi and thank you all for your wonderful support!

We have raised just over NZD$2,500 and are just back from delivering all the school supplies in Vanuatu.

We had a wonderful experience sailing on Te Vaka to Epi Island from Port Vila and living in the village of Lamen Bay for 4 days. We have made so many new friends and all had so much fun sharing the life of the people in the village.

We witnessed the annual Island Feast and canoe race, played tug of war, had a “blow pipe battle”, kayaked and snorkeled in beautiful Lamen Bay. We were also lucky to swim with the Dugong, a squid, sea snakes, turtles and many many tropical fish.

Most of all, we went on a pick up truck to deliver some medical supplies to the Lamen Bay hospital and then carried out on the track to Lokopue and the last school at the end of the track on the other side of the island.

The school principal, teachers and the children were very happy to receive all the school supplies as they say that no one ever goes this far to give them anything. They gave us oranges to thank us. We attended some of the lessons and played with all the children during the school break before driving back to Lamen Bay.
